Writer/Designer Reading Journal #1 Touchpoints

Touchpoints are defined as ephemeral or real points of interaction between stakeholders (users, service providers, etc.) in a designed experience.

To me, that means a touchpoint is anything that is part of a situation that affects the situation.

An example of this might be like in the process of making a DQ Blizzard some things that would be touchpoints are the products (cup, ice cream, toppings), the machinery (the blender and the icecream machine), The employees training on how to use the machine and how to properly portion the product.
